Pigpen lots of positive healing vibes winging there way to Tabitha
Mumof2 Happy Anniversary,I hope you and DH have a lovely evening.
since psoting earlier I have done the mountain of ironing (that will teach me to leave it for two weeks hoping that the ironing fairy would visit) and hoovered and polished the LR. OH came home for dinner and the kitchen now needs a S&S which I'll do after dinner this evening.
Ive also had to try and get in touch with outr landlady as during the thunder storm earlier I noticed that the conservatory has sprung several leaks one of which is running down into the ligh socket:eek:."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. Just wrote a post and it has disappeared so haven't time to redo
Hope Tabitha is ok Pigpen

Ok, firstly I'm new to all this, so many apologies for lack of names...but thoughts and hugs to those ill, having ops and going through rough times.
Secondly, after finding out what eating frogs was all about did manage to do it, though admittedly didn't have a lot of choice! Each morning, whilst feeling quite ill and knowing I am not going anywhere as a result, I find it really hard to motivate myself to get dressed (saves on washing!). But today I made sure it was the first thing I did. :T
Had to go out to get car MOT done so asked hubby to give me a hand with the basics and have worked on the others since getting home this afternoon. I even vacuumed the front room this morning.
The kids have daily jobs, so later the following jobs will also be done.
Plants watered.
Towels and flannels brought downstairs to wash.
Placemats wiped over.
Bathroom Blitz (Soap dish, toothpaste pot and bath bar all given a good clean)
Monday - Kitchen and dining room
Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Scrub down the front of units and large appliances[/STRIKE]
Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe and replace small appliances[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean oven and hob[/STRIKE]
Wash windows and sills
Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary
Sweep and mop the floor
Degunge the fridge![/STRIKE]
Extras
Thoroughly clean the cupboard under the sink!
[STRIKE]Run the WM's and DW's through a clean cycle
Clean all the filters and door seals etc[/STRIKE]
Wipe the back door down.. inside.. and out!!.. and scrub the cat flap
I can't reach the windows so will ask Hubby to do it later. Might get the door done but if not will add it to tomorrows list. Not sure about the cupboard under the sink as I think Hubby did it recently when we had a leak.
Feeling very satisfied for having actually achieved something today so Thanks to PigPen and ....... (Sorry, will learn!)

The garden won over the hoovering. Cut all the sides of the back hedge by hand - good exercise for the arms, kinder to the birds and the environment and doesn't use electricity. I haven't cleared up the clippings as I'm too tired now and the wheelie is full.
Going to prep some food for later in a minute, maybe I'll get to the flying tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Going to have a rest now before my piano lesson, which due to the last week I have done very little practice for.

kazw only cycling on my exercise bike - bit of fun to get me exercising a bit - 302 miles door 2 door!Toots~~ biking from where you are to South of Sheffield :D:rotfl: I hope the train / coach / car will take you or even a plane!
hello Aunty you were lucky not to get the thunderstorm and we have had some really heavy ones to day too - sunny and warm inbetween. Glad you got your appointments sorted - good luck with the frogs!!!
lostinrates - how right you are and it never takes as long as we expect either - when will we learn:rotfl:lostinrates wrote: »You know, the great thing about flying? Its never as bad when you just do it.
lemanie well done to you for working out a list that fits in - hope it helps
:rotfl::rotfl: no every 5 years is not the answer:rotfl: a lot of us use ovenmate when things get bad - best idea is to get it sparkling and then wipe over after use.WarriorPrincess wrote: »So, how often do you experienced Flypeople clean your ovens? From the difference I've made, I assume once every 5-years isn't the right answer!
Also, what do you use / what's the best way to go about it?
wilf hope you have changed up a gear - or do you still need another kick??
Triker :A thanks for that post about the Malicious Communications Act - I didnt know that - its very interesting and hopefully useful to the Mums having problems with bullies etc.
Pigpen huge hugs and loads of positive get well vibes for little Tabitha - her parents must be so worried - you all must be - poor wee mite.
PenPen I didnt know you and Dusty weere neighbours:p:DPenelope_Penguin wrote: »and then I'll join Dusty outside :j:j:j
nice to see some returners - sunday girl, mamashaz and new people wen3, out of money
Mumof2 thats good that you managed to open up to DH about things in the past - it has obviously been eating away at you and maybe now you are getting strong enough to deal with it with his help and your therapist - well done to you thats a huge hurdle - you should be feeling very proud of yourself. (((hugs))) and happy anniversary - have a lovely evening xx
aj I am not much of a cook so someone else will probably tell you better but I cook my chicken in a roasting bag or foil to stop all the splattering and open the top of it about 20 mins before the end to crisp it
and that is an excellent plan - a long weekend on your own is just what the pair of you need - quality time to relax (((hugs)))Mum is coming to the funeral but only coming up for the day so I have no need to have the whole house clean by Thursday. OH obviously took some notice of what I said yesterday and has taken Friday off so...I will try and have the house clean by Wednesday anyway so we can enjoy our 4 days off together :j
ab7167 £110 is a huge saving well done to you :T- I am sure you could get a cleaner:D but do you want to spend that money you have saved - see how much easier your finances work out next month first:D
outofmoney - dont overdo things at the beginning - if something doesnt get done dont worry - it will be here again next week (before you know it) and if you aren't very well you need to pace yourself - there are lots of us with illnesses and disabilities so we do what we can - its great if your Dh helps - if there is family at home get them involved too - why should you be the one doing it all:rotfl: you will soon get used to us and wonder at our sanity:D;) and if you stick around long enough you will get as mad as the rest of us!:D:T
been showery so havent ventured out - might get electrocuted in my chair!!!:rotfl:
LL came as arranged and fixed the bits inside that needed and did front guttering - he will come back tomorrow with a mate to have a look at the garage roof as it is leaking quite badly.
Dietician came and is quite pleased with me but I have some work to do before she comes in a month - I do work better with structure.
I have done dailies, HHG, cleaned kitchen windows (both sides) - then cleaned the steps (was on my list),did some sorting of the paperwork hotspot thats grown in the kitchen, and HH knitting to finish scarf - was hoping to go to flat and then solicitor this afternoon but weather is too unpredictable and I dont feel like walking to the bus stop - havent enough for taxis until wednesday so I am staying at home today - if its nice will catch up tomorrow - plenty other things needing doing.
hope all the aches and pains, ops, ups and downs all sort them selves out PDQ.
toots xxPeace will be mine
