Visit to hospital done and i think it helped hubby to see Rhys. Didn't stay to long as there was a meeting next door and Rhys was making alot of noise. :rotfl:

Came home and had a 2 hour kip, t'was very very much needed. So i'm feeling better now and ready to get my frog. :D

    Pigpen all crossed for Tabitha.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I have just arrived back after popping out. Docs have only given DS1 eye drops for 5 days, 3 day short of his next appointment with consultant. Ended up staying longer than planned at parents' home. Mum wanted a bath and the place needed blitzing.

Luckily rain has stayed away so washing is still out on my whirley line.

Gracie cat has left me a feathered present in the garden :( She has now gone to bed with no lunch (her choice)

Just grabbing a banana sandwich then going to crack on. HHC 2pm

Tap dancing restarts tonight and my back is hurting.

Thanks Wolfie, I'll check that link out later. I'm feeling better than I was last week thank you. I decluttered a LOT of tears at the weekend, had a really good talk with DH - he's so supportive - and told him about what had happened to me before I met him (going to visit therapist on Wednesday and will have to tell her all about it but basically I was assaulted) and went to lovely Church service last night. I cried in Church too :o, such a woos aren't I! The end result is I'm feeling a lot calmer now.

How are you my love - doing OK? You sound very upbeat and positive which is fab :).

Had my lunch (Nutella on toast :o) now need to get going.

Anyone fancy a HHC at 1.30?
Thanks, I'm not doing too bad; I sat Mr LW down for a wee chat, too (hee hee, that "twins" thing with us again) as he can't understand depression, and seems to either stick his head in the sand and hope it goes away, or else think he's done something wrong. Conversation was something like this:

Me: Remember when you did your back in, how much that hurt?
Him: *wincing at the memory* Yes
Me: But you knew although it hurt like bu88ery, it was a minor injury, and you'd be OK in a few days.
Him: Yes - I was only off work one day.
Me: Yes, and you didn't even take a sick day, you worked from home, remember?
Him: That's right. I haven't had a sick day since I started there - that's *thinks for a moment* five and a half years now!
Me: Well, now imagine having that pain, 24/7, with no hope of it ever ending.
Him: *looks aghast and goes very quiet*
Me: Now can you understand me feeling depressed and wanting an end to the whole shenannigans?

Btw, Mumof2, you're not a wuss; nowt wrong with decluttering a few tears - I believe I read somewhere that there are chemicals in tears that actually help to calm you, which is why you can feel better for a good cry.

I'm really glad you get so much from your Church services - different religion, but my faith helps me no end, too.:o

Now..... I really must get off my oversized butt and find a frog to chew on.....:rotfl:

I also am cheating a bit today as I'm getting the oven professionally cleaned - with fostering 2 little ones under 2, I never seem to get chance to do it properly and hopefully I'll keep on top of it then.

that's not cheating, i am thinking of doing the same myself :D Roughly how much does this cost, if you don't mind me asking? :o

Pigpen, Lots of posi-vibes coming your way for Tabitha

I am trying desperately to complete the lists on the right days this week as my mum may be coming on Wednesday. She has asked if she can come to the funeral so trying to get round and clean as the place is quite tidy (enough for visitors anyway). I'm sure no one will mind but have checked with OH first.

Monday - Kitchen and dining room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe worksurfaces
[STRIKE]Scrub down the front of units and large appliances[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wipe and replace small appliances[/STRIKE]
Clean oven and [STRIKE]hob[/STRIKE] We are having a roast later so will do it after
    [STRIKE]Wash windows and sills[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Sweep and mop the floor
    [STRIKE]Degunge the fridge[/STRIKE]

    Extras
    1. Thoroughly clean the cupboard under the sink!
    2. Run the WM's and DW's through a clean cycle
    3. Clean all the filters and door seals etc
    4. Wipe the back door down..[STRIKE]inside[/STRIKE].. and out!!

Advice please. When you roast chicken etc how do you make sure it doesn't spit everywhere (causing the oven to get like mine) but still have it crispy?

Having a quick sit down then will try and finish the rest.

No flying achieved here, have puking 14 month old and am desperately trying to work out how I'm going to get to work tomorrow if he's not better soon. And I had to finish my sewing in nap time, so no flying time there either... However, I have finished 2 handbags, which is £50 income when I deliver them AND I've finally cancelled gym membership, moved house insurance and changes broadband. <drumroll.....> total £110 PER MONTH saving! No wonder there is always too much month left at the end of the money! Must Ho and hang washing out before back to school to get DD...

Can you get a cleaner for £110 a month? Interesting thought...
