travelling from manchester to california (lax) then to new york...help and advice nee

Hiya,
Next year me and my partner want to travel from Manchester around the 14th June, stay for two weeks then move onto boston and new york for a week then back to manchester again. Does anyone have any idea on the cheapest way to do this, the best websites etc, thats for flights and accomodation!
any advice would be truly appreciated!

You can do this very easily on Expedia, and chances are they'll come in cheaper than anywhere else.

I've used them for multi-destination trips to the US and have nothing but praise for all aspects of their service.

You might find it's cheapest to book a return from Manchester to New York, and then another separate return ticket to California. We did this in the summer with flights from Manchester to Chicago, then going to San Francisco for a few days before flying home. This was a good £200 cheaper per person than booking a multi stop trip, and the times also worked out more convenient than the multi stop trip would have been.

Thankyou, I have taken on board both bits of advice, I have found a multi trip price for £560, then did it the other way and have got the tickets down to £497, is a bit more messing around doing it the second way, but 50 quid cheaper so well worth it as theres gonna be two of us!
Any ideas on cheap accomodation over there, or which sites to look on??

I'd call https://www.trailfinders.com to see if you can get a good deal on American Airlines or Delta.

Try tripadvisor.com as got reviews of hotels etc as well as tons of other info- great site

We've travelled across the USA a few times using http://www.driveaway.com/

You have a good class car to use - free of charge. You are delivering the car and just pay for the gas and motels used etc. Driving across the USA is very interesting. Last time we had a Ford Thunderbird to use - great trip.

Driveaway take a deposit from you, which is refunded immediately the vehicle has been delivered. They're quite happy using UK drivers with a clean licence. Just contact them and clear yourself as an acceptable driver then a couple of weeks before ( if poss) let their local office know where you want to travel to, and they'll keep you informed of any vehicles that need delivering in that direction.
