I like Wera and Wiha screwdrivers, I've found them to be very well made, and good value even at their relatively high prices.
Most of my Stanley screwdrivers have been OK, but not as good as Wera and Wiha.
I've also got a Stanley Fat Max screwdriver handle (the one without a ratchet) which takes interchangeable bits. It will fit into most places that a conventional screwdriver will go, and it's cheaper to replace the bit than the entire screwdriver when the bit becomes rounded.0 -
I tend to find that replaceable blades are a good idea when you have a lot of screws to put in. For one thing it is not possible to sharpen Pozidrive and Phillips headed drivers, so when the tip goes you have to buy another screwdriver.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
as above. i use mostly bits these days. cheap and simple to replace.
stanley tools are good value for money. they last far longer than the pound shop tools.Get some gorm.0 -
Without a doubt Stanley screwdrivers are/were the best. I say were because I haven't had to replace any of the ones that I bought years ago.

Irazola / Bahco is another good make, i use them for insulated drivers being an electrician, also used the stanley fat max and they held up quite well given the use/abuse they took using them in conjunction with a hammer
Would recommend the folowing -
Irazola / Bacho
