No offence but why would someone want "chrome molybdenum vanadium steel shafts"? It is not the shaft that fails. Its the bit shoved on the end.Not Again0 -

I have only ever had one bend when I was using it to tighten a back nut spanner.
Anyways my experience (& I have only one experience) of Halfords Advanced Professional is that the 1" & 13/16th socket I bought for £14 had to be grinded by me to make it 1" & 13/16ths. :eek:Not Again0 -
