No offence but why would someone want "chrome molybdenum vanadium steel shafts"? It is not the shaft that fails. Its the bit shoved on the end.

No2 fits the most wood screws.

The shaft fails when you lever the driver, or have all these in your tool bag and throw other tools on top of them.

I have only ever had one bend when I was using it to tighten a back nut spanner.

Anyways my experience (& I have only one experience) of Halfords Advanced Professional is that the 1" & 13/16th socket I bought for £14 had to be grinded by me to make it 1" & 13/16ths. :eek:
