well, the sky was blue today as i was driving to work, i was thinking he's up there somewhere in that better place.

led me to thinking about a time when he got dragged into "next":o , and bless him, he put up with me dragging him round. but the little s o d kept picking all these most disgusting things off the sale rail, and tried to get me to try them on! what the whatsits he wanted to wind me up with a pair of last seasons dungarees for but he was a great wind up merchant. then he decided he didnt like one of the skirts i was looking at. shame really, i didnt have the heart to tell him i'd already got it:D . Thing was, when i did see a brill pair of gentlepurr socks, he threw up his arms in horror at the thought of any woman wearing them. put up with me gracefully he did. so, decided to go the other side of town. poor mich hated being a passenger in anyones car, never mind mine.............:D but he just smiled and got on with it, held on tight & hoped for the best....such a gentle man, and a gentleman, picked his moment, and made us all smile.

and as for all the people he helped, mich was never happier than when he was helping someone, so you have all made your contribution to making his life a happy one.

I am completely stunned by this very sad news.

I had the priviledge of meeting mich and I echo everything that has been said about him already. A lovely, lovely man; genuine, caring, very witty!!

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to those whose lives will feel the emptiness that his passing will bring.

Mich, you came across as a patient, friendly person and you certainly kept us amused in Stratford! You seemed uncomplaining about most things - although I distinctly remember you saying gentlepurr was a bad driver!
