Getting better Sainsbury's/Nectar vouchers

Yes I understand that. I'm asking if it matters whether I spend £20 every friday or £3 a day. I'm still spending £20+ a week. Also they're not giving me any vouchers so I'm not being pushed into spending more. If they gave me £3 off £30 I'd understand but they're not even giving me that! I'm just wondering whether I should start buying all my stuff on the same day or start spending more in order to be given a voucher.
That said, I probably save a lot more the way I currently shop. It's just it'd be nice to get a decent voucher for a change!0 -
I rarely use Sainsburys, but when I go, I DO tend to get till spits. They also post them to me. The latest ones i've had are for £8 off £40. I use them at Tesco instead.COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0

i work in sainsburys and do my main shopping there and normally get one or two tillspits that i wont use. Today I got quite a few on a £10 spend that are really good that i will use and have already started making a list on how to maximise points etc.
I got:
20p off pasta sauce which i buy a lot of anyway
40p off taste the difference potato products
80 points when i spend £20
160 points when i spend £4 on frozen food
200 points when i spend £5 on fruit and veg
and £2 off a £20 spend.
So if i spend my usual £30 and include the amounts above it should work out as :
£30 spend - £2 voucher = £28
£28 - £0.60 coupons = £27.40
£27.40 - 10% discount = £24.66
24 x 6nectar points = 144 (I get triple points for a week for being staff)
+ 440 points for coupons = 584 pointsYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

There is a coupon for 50p off for getting 5 items of fruit and veg. I saw a customer getting 5 bananas and weighing them individually on self scan and getting his bananas for 3p! As if you weighed all 5 bananas at once, its classed as one item!0

Cool!
I got a voucher for points if you spend £5 on fresh fruits and veg but I never really spend that much.0 -

Staff discount knocks off the total transaction, regardless of if you use coupons.
So £30 minus 10% discount - £27
£27 - £2.60 of coupons - £22.40.
Nectar card points still remain the same0 -
hehe, thanks but either way I'd still have to spend a fiver on fruit and veg for about £2 in points0

I shop in sainsburys at least two times a week, sometimes small shop around 15 £ sometimes, big weekly shopping, and I never ever received voucher with £ Off just additional points if i spen 70 £ and some coupons ith moneyy off from products, like baby food, which I didn't bought for 8 month because my son is 27 month old now....:D“The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, and only the wise can see them.”
