Getting better Sainsbury's/Nectar vouchers

My OH and I both have Nectar cards that contribute points to the same account. I do the vast majority of the shopping and every so often get vouchers at the till for e.g. 280 points when I spend over £60
but...
when my OH has done the odd shop and used the other Nectar card, we get far better vouchers e.g. £6 off when you spend over £40.
Has anyone else found this and/or found a way to make the most of it and get the better vouchers?
Thanks

The vouchers are random & some depend on what you buy regularly & how much you spend
Sainsbury's are also running a trial of new random vouchers at the moment which vary from £0.01p to £100.000 -
Me and my mam have both noticed that it seems to depend on the amount you spend, so if I spend £20 it'll give me a £3 off when you spend £30 voucher, or my mam who spends maybe £50 per week will get £7 off a £70 shop, to try and push you up into the next 'bracket' of spending.D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0

I work for Sainsburys and the largest voucher I have seen issued at my till is for 75p! Saw a 1p voucher in a trolley. You got to be the lowest of the low if you admit to use your 1p voucher. I never received one of these vouchers. I am not too sure if I would laugh or cry over receiving a 1p off voucher.0 -

When you signed up to Nectar, you must have selected no to 'I wish to receive offers from Nectar'. Phone 0800636262 option 1 for Nectar and they will reverse that for you. Can take up 2 days (the vouchers refresh on Wednesdays on the coupon printer) to update.
There is also a Nectar app for iPhone/iPod/iPad where you can select double points deals and 100 bonus points if you buy a certain item. I got 150 bonus points for some Fairy washing up liquid and 50 points for buying a Quality Street The Big Green Triangle (they were discontinued at 5p!)
Plus the money off coupons are based on average transaction. In one transaction, I bought a PS3, 2 PS3 games, £20 of clothing, £20 of booze and £15 of food - around £300 and I get the triple Nectar points for £60! I probably spend £60 about 4 times a year - 3 out of the 4 are clothes, CDs and DVDs.0 -
with sains i've noticed the more u spend the less u get.
i shop there daily whereas my mum shops there maybe once every fortnight spending about £5 but gets loads of till spits on each visit. yet i go there daily and get 1 or 2 a month offering 20p off stupid salad dressing.0
