Does anybody know anything about Unaccompanied Travel?
My son lives in oz and it would prob work out cheaper for me just to get him flown over for holidays just dont know how to go about it

My cousins used to do this & they were always well looked after by airline staff

UM travel is really safe for kids, they pretty much get a member of staff looking after them & them alone the whole way from check-in to hand over at their destination. They get on 1st and off last with the cabin crew & are constantly checked on. My cousins were probably around 8 & 10 when they started using the service as their dad was stationed in the US (Military family) & they went to boarding school in the UK & traveled back for the 'long' holidays, often as UM's and although this was about 10-15 yrs ago I can only think that security would be tighter now than ever!

I'm sure your cousins were fine but:
they were older
they had each other for company/reassurance
