            Depends how amicable your split with her was I guess. The gifts you gave her I wouldn't be asking for back. As for the car loan, she should really repay you. The double bed, she could give you half of what it cost.
 Am thinking you may have to chalk all this down to experience. Its unlikely you'd be on here asking what you're entitled to if you felt asking her would sort it out.
 Dont beat yourself up about it, being generous in a relationship is nice. Just be a bit more cautious next time and keep things 50/50 for a while.0

 If it was only a week or two and you were trying to impress her, then that was stupid.

            I read somewhere before that in this situation it can help by thinking of it as "How much would I pay to be rid of her" and if that exceeds the amount you gave her in pressies then you're quids in and MSE!!0
