Flights to Florida Aug 2012 Help

Hi All

Im hoping someone can give me some advice,

Im looking to book some good value flights to Orlando for Aug 2012.

Does anyone know when the best time to book is, when they are released for sale and also where is the best place to look.

Also - If anyone has any info on villas there :-)

Thanks

  • Can't decide whether to book now or wait. Just 3 of us going so tempted to wait as doubt flights will increase in price but will they go down??
  • Good question - I'm in the same boat - to wait or not ?

I booked my flight from Orlando to Heathrow the morning I travelled and I paid $336 (£217) although I don't know how common this is and obviously it depends if you are able to leave it so late.

  • I wonder how Mike got on with booking his flights? We're in the same boat except wanting to fly thurs 11th Oct 2012 & back thu 1st Nov. We've had some advice that after christmas, Virgin usually have a sale & therefore all other companys follow suit, so we are going to hang on until then.
When i checked virgin last night for those dates, they were charging just over £1k each for a return flight from Manchester to Orlando & back!!!! Where do they get those ridiculous prices from?? Yet to move our holiday all forward by two days, it would be £630 each return?? We've set ourselves a limit for the cost of flights & if we cant get them for under that, then we wont be going..we've worked hard to save enough money for 3weeks in Florida but we wont be going if it means lining the pockets of fat cat airlines that are charging ridiculous prices!!!
