Vodafone tariff incorrect - though e2save
Hi all, I ordered a new phone with Vodafone who I have never been with before; the tariff is 500min, unlimited texts, 500mb data for £30 a month (Galaxy S2):
http://www.e2save.com/mobile-phone/contract/samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-S2.html?tariffcode=D25TEAPR09
I got it on Wednesday and am very happy. However when I log into my vodafone account it only shows 500texts allowance. I rang Vodafone (Thursday evening) and they verbally said it's unlimited and it will update in 30mins or so - well it didn't.
This morning (like 7:30am) I also emailed Vodafone asking them to change it, but no reply yet. Now I'm checking the email I got from Vodafone and it state 500texts too which I didn't noticed.
Has anyone ever come across this before?

Ahh yes, My beloved Vodafone, Basically, They said to you it will be unlimited, So that you end up going mad on texting, And then you'll owe them money for going over your texts.
You have also chosen the worst company to have a phone contract with (read the reviews, And what people think about them all over the web, On here, And whats more, Add there facebook page 'Vodafone UK', Have a loot through the discussions and you'll see how shoddy they really are).
I can also speak from experience, Of being over charged £300 on a months bill, When i have proof i didn't use that much, They basically didn't help me, And just wanted money that wasn't there's.
So i got a contract with orange, Who have been absolutely fantastic.' You only live once ! Don't live to regret the past, But to enjoy the future '

Do you mean Vodafone or e2Save?
Any issues need to go to e2save, they acted as the agent to set the contract up they are the ones with the power to change it on the networks end not the OP.0 -
I agree that it is worth contacting e2s, but 'beloved' Vodafone could have helped or at least advised doing this instead of giving the customer typical runaround.I rang Vodafone (Thursday evening) and they verbally said it's unlimited and it will update in 30mins or so0

Well I took the risk with e2save, and have already cancelled their automatic insurance and geek helpline. However they offered a much better deal than anyone else - this isn't the problem. I'll give Voda a call again.0

I've just spoke with Vodafone and this person was much more helpful. The deal is for 500texts but e2save have added an additional 'top up' to unlimited texts - and it does say this on my bill. The confusion was where the 'My Plan' only says 500texts.
I just wished the first person said this when I called.0 -
Hi F_T_Buyer,
I am glad to see that you have had this cleared up now, it's a shame to hear this wasn't done in the first instance.
Hi MichaelCR,
It sounds like you have had some issues with Vodafone that have not yet been resolved. Am I right in thinking that these are ongoing? If so, I would be more than happy to look into it for you. You can contact me via email at webrelations@vodafone.com with WRT135 (FAO Heidi) in the subject. Please include a link to this thread when messaging.
Many thanks,
Heidi
