iphone 4 - All icons have disappeared!!!

This afternoon i was having a play around updating and trying to jailbreak/unlock my Iphone 4 its been updated to the 4.3.3 latest and then next time i turned my phone on all the little icons on the main screen have completely disappeared and nothing appears on the wallpaper!!!

What have i done?

What can i do to get them back?

Have you tried connecting it to iTunes and restoring the phone?

Yeah just tried and message comes up stating

'The iphone could not be restored. This device isn't eligible for the requested build'

Oh dear. Sounds like you've cocked up somewhere. Try re-applying the Jailbreak. Failing that, its cap in hand time and an appointment at the Genius Bar.
