One of our Burmese cats had a lovely box made for her with all mod cons for a new mum. However she decided it was not for her and moved them into the bottom of our bed and we had to move into the spare room until they were a bit older.

That reminded me of when I was 5, I had my old cot as a doll's cot in my bedroom - and that's where the cat decided to have her kittens :p

Oh I do hope you can now convince the woman to have the cat spayed asap :( And the little ones. Otherwise they will have another lot to deal with in 6 months time :(

With all due respect you have no idea of the situation, the cats owner could be breeding in order to sell them on.

Some people in here seem to be forgetting it's really no ones business but the cats owner what she does either, to try to persuade her or force her what to do with her own cat is just plain wrong. It is unfortuate they've ended up in the OP garden but it doesn't give her the right to dictate to her neighbour.

A little note of caution if the hutch is still open.

One of mine, Gunther, came from Cat's Protection after a mother cat had her kittens under the shed belonging to a stranger.
All efforts to find the owner drew a blank.

The shed owner 'left them alone' only to discover a day or two later that the mother had been mauled almost to death (they had to put her to sleep) presumably by a fox, and only one kitten remained.

They took the kitten and had him 'adopted' by a mother and litter they already had in their care, and eight weeks later, he and one of his adopted brothers came to me.

It also doesn't hurt to try and educate people - why bring more moggies into the world when the rescue centres are full to bursting with kittens?
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D

That is Why I got my Staffy !!!!! neutered.

Been looking online out of curiosity for staff puppies In Leicester alone (we lost our boy Friday :() there are hundreds.

Makes my blood boil, just look on RSPCA website they also have hundreds of unwanted staffies, more of them than any other dog.. :(.

    Government need to do something..

Back to cat's, I could of shook my best friend, her cat had kittens, she swore she was going to get her done but then she had another set of kittens 6 mnths later, THEN another set, Another friend of ours ended up taking the cat to be done at her expense.

there are two many kittens around currently & unless they are pedigrees (which I strongly doubt as they have been born in the rabbit hutch) something must be done!

unless you want a kitten, there are not that many around!

Cats will have kittens wherever they feel like it. My female cat once decided to have them on the rug in the living room, she was quite extrovert lol.

    Photos?!

Edit: I was reading backwards, i see they are grey, I have been after a grey kitten for years. Looking forward to photos.
