How long for tax credits to update?

ive got through and mine were updated I cant believe how quick its gone through. Wanted to make sure i did not get over paid from April 11 onwards.

I was recieving a potential overpayment from April of £40 per week so wanted to get mine through as quick as possible. I am waiting on the childcare element being approved and I didn't want a £300 additional payment that would reduce my award loads. Getting a payment on Monday, then Tuesday then back to normal Mondays x

I wonder if mine is taking longer to update because my income does not match my hours worked because I was on ssp for 22 weeks and then maternity allowance.
Could this affect the time taken to process my renewal I wonder.

I earned a lot less this year and i caculated that they may owe me around 2k but when i have called the have amended my weekly payments, but didnt mention a lump sum.

i dont understand that some people get a few hundred quid here n there for an underestimate of earnings but i haven and my earnings were under by about 5k (due to sickness)

Just wait and see, they say not to keep ringing and give two weeks so you don't jam the phones for those ringing up to renew as you have already done yours, so gives others a chance to sort theirs out.
