Here are some common default username/passwords for Linksys routers (the format is Username/Password).
<leave blank>/admin
<leave blank>/password
admin/admin

Tried all these and still can't get through to Routers homepage
Any ideas pleaseHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
try the factory reset of the router, usually need a pin/toothpick/paperclip to access the recessed Reset button - check the user guide for exact instructions. Was the router provided by an ISP, and if so, did they provide login info ??......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
my son and daughter can still access internet via their laptops
If I do the factory does that mean they will lose their connection and i will have to do their 2 laptops as well

Ask your son and daughter if they know the wireless key/password
If you reset the router, you'll have to re-enter all your details to connect to your ISP. You'll also have to update everyone's wireless settings on their computers.
Before you do this, make sure you have all those details handy to connect to the ISP (usually email address as username, and email password as the password) otherwise you'll be offline awhile! The ISP should have given you information when you joined. Don't do anything you can't undo.
Who originally set up the modem router? The password to access 192.168.1.1 might be saved in their browser, if you try connecting with it.0 -
Yes was working before, was my laptop - can see bottom right hand corner - Wireless Network Connection Status - 54.0 Mbps
Try right clicking on small computer icon near the clock and click repair.0 -

wireless password is different to router admin password if it wasn't obvious.!!
> . !!!! ----> .0 -
...or log into router and change wireless key, via 192.168.1.1
On older LinkSys linksys routers, the default username is blank and the default password is "admin." On newer Linksys routers, both the default username and the default password are set to "admin."
You'll need to re-enter the same key on all the household computers next time you connect.Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0
