Three contract - paying in advance question thingy

Hi there,
I know that my financial circumstances are likely to take a slight turn for the worse in the next few months and I'd like to cover as much of my outgoings in advance as possible. Does anyone know if you can pay mobile contract tariffs in advance? I'm on a £10 a month SIM only deal with three, with about 6 months left to go. I'd like to be able to pay them £60 up front so I can more or less forget about it. I would ring 3 CS, but, well, y'know what that can be like. Thought I'd try and establish if it were possible before trying to explain what I'd like to do to them.
Thanks in advance.

You can pay in advance, but you can't "more or less forget about it" if you keep using the phone and your monthly allowances are not much bigger than your normal usage.
If you exceed the allowance(s) you'll have to pay extra at some point.0 -
This much I realise... my allowance is huge compared to what I actually use, which is why I'd like to do this. Cool.0
