have to think about this:
Sat prob no lunch but early dinner
dinner free chicken leg from next door with pots and carrots
Sun maybe make a veg soup ready for in work and have some now.
dinner I think free shredded chicken omlette with spinach and a bit of pot or wedges
Mon veg soup and scones
dinner last piece of free chicken and jacket pots, maybe homemade CS
Tue veg soup and scones
dinner Pasta bake - tuna and sweetcorn?
Wed veg soup and scones
dinner toad in the hole
Thurs sausage and noodle soup
dinner sausage pasta bake
Fri sausage and noodle soup
dinner mixed bean pot I think. that is to say all the scraps from the fridge (meat, veg, cheese ends) cooked and chopped up and mixed with a tin of beans or toms over pasta.
defrost a piece of gammon for next week.
ok, slight change in plan after the market this morning
sausage pie tonight/tomorrow
hm honey roast parsnips and carrots now with the chicken with additional cabbage?
chicken and spinnach omlette, now with broad beans or in pod peas
pepper pizza in the week
also planning necterine cobbler for a desert, smoothies for breakfast, and making fruity oaty bars for snacks
so prob beans on toast on pudding day.
veg soup still for work, but now with the possibility of tuna and cucumber sandwiches and cheese/ham slaw sandwichesOne of the hardest of all life lessons is this:

Hi all, thanks JulieG for starting the thread
I like having an idea of what we are going to eat, but we don't always stick to it. Here goes for this week:
Saturday 7th – chiken tikka, chicken rogan, lentil & saag aloo and rice with salad leaves from the garden - this went down really well. The boys loved the tikka, rice and salad leaves. They left the rogan and veggie mix for the grown ups!
Sunday 8th – pot roast beef, green beans and roasties
Monday 9th – freezer delight
Tuesday 10th – Chinese ribs and chicken wings
Wednesday 11th – lo rogan
Thursday 12th – freezer delight
Friday 13th – tuna pasta bake
Saturday 14th – mozarella chicken or parmesan crusted for the DGSs
Sunday 15th – Roast turkey crown & gammonOutside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.
