Tried on Tuesday. Not a pack left on the shelf. Not even a space for it. Something else there instead.
So I guess they'd sold out and weren't expecting any more in before the offer ended.
Keep trying I went Tuesday and Wednesday and got lucky yesterday, even luckier no limit so had ten for me and ten for my daughterSlimming World at target0

            hi there!
i went to asda and they had no butter left, so i went to Tesco on my way home and bought the counrty life for £1.30!!! each.
I asked if they did a pricematch with ASDA and the cashier said yes...on the pricechecker online....i did all that and it has come back as no difference??? as if they dont stock the product at all, There was nothing else on the reciept except country life butter, so have i done something wrong or do i have to do it in store there and then??
 Thanks0

I look at the butter, £3 per 250g, then carry walking and buy it from Morrisons.
I can remember the 60's and 70's when you could buy from farms cheaper than you could get in the shops. Because the farmer sold to you at the same price he sold to the shops. Now they charge you extra for the privilege of not having the supermarkets adding their markup to the price.
I agree - I love the idea of buying from my local farmers' market, my parents used to take us all when we were nippers, I just simply can't afford the prices. The same with my local butcher, whose prices were extremely competitive, the ownership has now changed hands, and they've 'blinged' the shop out, and all of the staff wear these really 'cool' uniforms, so it is now all very arty, which is lovely. The problem being however, is that the prices have rocketed, and I no longer shop there, it therefore really annoys me when I hear some butchers complaining that the general public don't use their local butchers enough, and that we're responsible for them closing down.0

2 500g Lurpack in Tesco at the moment for £3. (£2.90 for 1) I love my Lurpack and can't switch to another brand The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

You're lucky, it's £3.02 for 1x 500g Lurpack at the Tesco Express that has replaced our local filling station.
Think I'll try for Stichill Butter at the Queen's Park Farmer's Market tomorrow instead.
(Mind you, Tesco sell that at their Braehead Dobbies outlet too).0

Pricecheck only works if Asda stock it, and have it currently in stock, on the day you buy it, otherwise it comes back as n/a
Before you shop for pricecheck you need to check the items you are buying are showing on the website. Unfortunately country life butter disappeared a few days ago so will now come back as n/a, unless of course Asda re-stock.0

My wife went shopping today in Asda and refused to buy at £1.10. I went on my super market and they are all at £1.10. Blatant price fixing!!!!Nothing to see here, move along.0

 here
Yep, but those are the 250g blocks, not the 500g spreadable which are on offer for 2 for £3 in Tesco. They are £2.58 each in Asda.
The 250g blocks are also 2 for £2.50 in Tesco & have been for sometime...I've been stocking up.:D
Edit: It may still be worth buying them in Asda if you shop there anyway as you could use the 10% price guarantee.0
