Thomas Exchange bank transfer - Forgot reference

EDIT: Issue solved, very friendly communication, see post below.
I've paid some money to Thomas Exchange but stupidly forgot to include my order number in the Payee Reference area.
I've phoned the bank and the money has gone straight into there account and I've emailed Thomas Exchange so it arrives first thing in the morning.
I'm just worried now I've lost my money because I left off the reference. The bank says they shouldn't have an issue as the reference is Thomas Exchange UK and the account payee should appear, but I'm worried they will turn round and say they cannot prove/find it.
Anyone else ever had this issue?
Cheers

I haven't personally experienced this issue but I do work for a bank and hopefully I can offer some reassurance. Generally with a payment like that, your name will appear (as it does on your account) so the company will be able to trace your payment via your name. If for whatever reason they claim they cant find your money you can call up your bank and let them know and action a charge reversal. Normally though companies are quick to realise where the money was coming fromLife is what you make it.0

Can I just say that Thomas Exchange emailed me first thing this morning and called me and the situation is completely fine. They also had calls from worried members of public, so anyone reading, everything is fine

Very friendly on the phone and will let me know when money is dispatched Monday. So far I definite recommendation
