I noticed a post on a plumber's forum rumour that above Company has gone into liquidation. If anyone can help to confirm the truth, I would be grateful as I pay them (via Close Premium Finance) monthly by direct debit for home emergency cover. They covered my gas boiler which is 13 years old. Anyone know who else can cover a gas boiler of that age?

Looks like the rumours are true - there is a meeting of creditors on Monday to discuss the dissolution of the company, so unless the customer database is sold on to someone else you might have problems getting the cover you paid for or your money back.
The best thing to do is to ask friends/family for a recommendation for a local RGI - GasSafe reg engineer - and get him to service the boiler annually for you and he should be able to help if the boiler/system has any problems during the year. It will also be much cheaper than your current plan.

spoke to Insurance Company on Friday and cover will carry on until renewal. Problem is, my boiler is 13 years old and it's difficult finding cover for a boiler over 10 years!
