Employer got pay wrong, how will LHA be affected?

That's why I suggest contacting the council. If you end up overpaid, you would be asked to repay it but if you flag to the council that you have had a change which would lead to an overpayment, and they take no action, then it would be their error and you may not have to repay. Or if they do suspend, you would not have an overpayment to deal with.I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.
