    Oh, wait a minute...
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

COMEX (COModity EXchange) has roughly doubled the margin required to trade futures. The impact is clear.

The consensus seems to be that it's a straight line down to $34/oz in the next few days. There may have been some inside knowledge around this too. The biggest silver ETF (a bit like a share that tracks the silver price) has a huge number of people betting the silver prices are going to fall (aka 'short interest').

As with any big shift in price there'll be plenty of winners as well as losers.

Reading on a couple of the shares boards I'm on, conspiracy theorists believe there is far more than meets the eye here. Reading between the lines, it seems some of this could have been manufactured. It's having a knock on effect to junior aim shares too.

As I say, could be all conspiracies and people not liking the fact were all losing money for what seems, no real basis.

Not going to pretend to understand it all.

Yes but only 3%. If it was really due to the Comex prices surely silver wouldnt stand alone with huge losses?
