If Bank A buys 10 million bars of silver for £10 each on a 3 month short option and in 3 months the price has doubled they would be out of pocket £100 million (excluding leverage), so they do thousands of short intra day trades to bring the price down, it costs them millions but if the price drops below the original purchase option price they have turned a £100 million loss to profit. Worth spending a few million on!
Complete and utter nonsense.
"a 3 month short option"....means nothing. It is not a financial term, and has nothing to do with Options.
You do not have a clue, so stop making a fool of yourself.Peoples lack of understanding of the markets is staggering
As you have just demonstrated.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0
