Have you actually tried it under your other makeup?
I am wearing posietint today and have to keep applying extra powder to tone it down.
I suppose it depends how ragdoll rosy you want to look I guess. I put on two "x"s of Posietint, one of each cheek and tap it around the apple of my cheek with my fingers. then I apply my foundation and then seal with some transluscent powder. I find that's rosy enough but maybe my skin is just odd! (Just checked the mirror and I'm still Rosy from 6am application!)

Yep did try it but my foundation just covers up the pinkness. I mean that's what I like about it as a foundatoin that that it is good at covering things up so for me it won't help underneath and I think it will need to go on top of the foundation and powder, I'm just finding it tricky to run it on without rubbing everything else off. :-)
  • is it just me but does the Benetint taste really strange? Tried it as a lip stain/tint at the weekend and eeeew very odd taste:o

I'd recommend trying it on top of the foundation, but underneath the powder :)

Have you tried mixing a little with the foundation: watch how much foundation your mixing with it if its fairly dense stuff, otherwise apply your usual foundation with a brush everywhere but not where you have the tint. Then use your finger tips of a much smaller brush (sponge will just take the whole thing off) to blend and blend and blend.

Other then that I'd suggest a different foundation, the tints are from Benefit remember and this is a company who is famed for trying to promote the natural beauty look, full facial covers-everything-even-the-colour foundation isn't something that tends to mix well with their look IMO! Have you tried using a primer to even out your skin texture (something like Olay's serums, L'Oreal Yough code's treatment cream, primers from L'Oreal professional etc could all do this) then wait until dry and just buff over with a massive facial brush loaded with a powder foundation. The Bodyshop tend to do this look well as do SOME counters of Bare Minerals (some go OTT so be careful who you pick!!)

I got my magazine from whsmith at train station who had absolutely loads! Wasn't sure whether to go for posietint or benetint (I already have high beam, think it's lasted me about 2 years so far!) Bought the posietint and put it on this morning but it doesn't seem to show up on my skin. My skin isn't that dark so not sure what i'm doing wrong. Probably not putting enough on, but it's so bright i'm a bit scared of it!

Got all three at Asda in Longwell Green (Bristol) this morning. Samples should last me ages, and two of the mags can go into me and my daughter's holiday reading stashes and the third can go to a mate. Quite a few mags left in store, though not sure for how long or how likely you'd be to find all three products in what remains.

Me too, im a red head and couldnt get it to show on me either
  • I'm quite fair, too, and had to use loads of Posietint to get an effect. Started with three little dots, then another three, then swiped the brush across! It doesn't look clownlike though, just a pretty pink blush.
  • I have an olive skin tone and I barely had to use any of the Posietint on my cheeks to get it to show up! Its strange how it varies from person to person, I was expecting it to not show up at all!

The Benetint is FAB on the lips too.
