Thinking of giving Costco a shot as a last resort - does anyone have any suggestions - I've tried WH Smith, Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and small corner shops - any help would be appreciated - thanks in advance
The most stock I saw today was in Boots - I always forget they sell magazines.0 -
Well I have now tried all 3 and here is my review
I am in my 30s with dry/sensitive pale-ish caucasian skin.
I looked on You Tube for tips on applying all 3: just type 'Benetint' (or whatever) and 'tutorial' into the search engine.
My favourite is the Posietint - gives a lovely soft flush to my cheeks and is creamy and non-drying so is easy to apply. :T
I found the Benetint harder to apply and gave up applying directly to my face as it seemed to set very quickly (I ended up with a cross and three dots marked on my face the first time I tried!) - this was possibly due to my very dry skin which 'drinks' moisture out of my make up very quickly. As I have pale skin, I also found it too dark for my cheeks but it was a wonderful lipstain, under a pale gloss.
The High Beam was my least fave. This is the only one I had used before and I used to love it... but I guess I am older now and found it too shimmery - one to pass on to my young niece.0 -
My city centre WHSmith has loads of Glamour Mag. There were loads of extra shelves full of them.
I bought three copies to supplement the one I received in the post. So I now have two high .beam, and two benetint.0 -
Got Highbeam this afternoon, i'm more impressed with the eyeliner that I got from Marie Claire!!!!Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:
DS aged 14, DD aged 3 :j0 -
Sorry if this has already been posted, but this links to a £5 off £15 spend in WH Smith - valid until Sunday 19th. I got 5 copies of glamour, one of each gift for me, and 2 for DD, she already has a benetint so got the other two, also got Rachel Allen Food at Home cook book which was 20 for only 4.99, plus carrier bag 1p made it 15, so got 5 off, and also free copy of The Times which you get when you spend over 3 on magazines - so i was well pleased! hope link works ok, and also to say that you have to save the image and then size it down, otherwise it does not print properly.

I finally found some at my work place this morning and only bought 2. I decided that I don't think I'd need the Benetint. Yet to try them, as I left them in my work locker....doh!I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!0

Got Highbeam in my subscription and picked up Posietint and Benetint in boots whilst getting my lunch today. My skin is quite fair yet they both look nice on me, just a matter of not overdoing the Benetint. You've just got to be very quick at blending it in otherwise you get random dots and crosses on your cheeks lol.0

Thanks for the OP for this. I bought one mag yesterday in Asda with a Posie tint. Seemed like a popular choice as there were loads with the package ripped open and the contents removed but loads of benetint and high beam left. I am really impressed with it, being pale its a great peachy pink colour for both my cheeks and lips.
So.....I went and bought another one today from WHS. I think this will be one product I buy in full size too...0 -
I have a Posie tint that I do not want, am happy to send it to someone who really wants it. It is still boxed and unopened.
Edit:Already been claimed0 -
I find benetint works better as a lip stain and posie tint as a cheek stain. High beam is nice, but you need to use very little of it otherwise you look like your off clubbing with a bunch of underage kids. I have a large bottle of this from my wedding make-up as it's nice if you have photos done so didn't bother with the small one as it will take me years to get through this.
Posietint is a shocking coloured liquid though! cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0
