I have booked a week down at St Ives Bay in the first week in September. The caravan only cost me £200 for the week - obviously with it being just after school holidays the prices are much lower. However, there are still some caravans and chalets available in August that come in at under £500. Although without the dates that you are going I cant tell you the exact prices as they vary. Take a look at the site and see if they have anything that suits. The park is right on the sea front too - looks great.

Well ive not been before, but the research ive done said there are plenty of bars/pubs and a couple of clubs. I dont suppose the clubs will be huge, but there is obviously some nightlife. Just depends what you are after.
