Don't often see you in this thread! Welcome
Hope the deficit is balanced by May.

I'm a nightworker and I have a touch of insomnia so spending lots of time in front of the PC this week. So I get to look at lots of threads I'd normally skip.
You might have noticed me posting every few hours all through the day.
Although I don't usually have time to get involved I love this sort of thread. The encouragement it gives day to day is incredably usefull in keeping those in debt going. Its also encouraging for people like myself who have cleared our debts but follow the lifestyle of 'cheap living', or should that be 'smart spending'.
Having been a financial disaster until I was nearly 40 I definately have a feeling of wanting to make up for lost time so that deficit in May is a shortfall in my savings target. It makes no real difference materialy if I miss it, but thats not the point. I WILL succeed in meeting that target. So what if my car needed a new water pump - starter motor - tyre, and my tele blew up, all in the same week . That emergency fund was nice whilst it lasted.
OK I'm waffling.

Sorry I didn't post - haven't been on the board much today - but only spent 40p on parking, while I went to Job Centre.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
