For me its shopping day, budgeted at £22. I'm more interested in how much I can come in under budget and not spend. My spreadsheet has a £49 deficit predicted for next May and I hope to be 2 or 3 quid closer after my shop today.
    Regards

    £105 rent :o
    £2.28 on lunch
    35p on a paper

Pretty good, and the urge to get back on Betfair, after Sunday, has waned last few days, so finding it easy to save my cash. :) I may go and buy some oil for my car tomorrow, but it's something I'll have for a while and only need a small amount for any top ups during the winter/spring until my service is due.

I've spent a small fortune today. £14.70 in Asda, and £39.44 in IKEA. Never mind...

    Edit: and £23.99 in woolies...

Hi, was just interested when you said £6 on laundry products was about 18 months worth! Just wondering how much you usually spend on laundry and how? :)

I buy the tesco 48 size boxes of washing tablets with fabric condition in them and throw everything of mine in one wash each week, sometimes using my foot to cram it in. Mostly I use one tablet but mega loads I use 2. I suppose all in one is a man thing

Anyway, 48 tablets lasts about 36 weeks and its 3.48 a box (I think) and I already have a spare box in the store cupboard.

My daughter lives with me 4 days and her mother for 3 but gets her aunty to do her washing.
