Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Just got back from shopping. Budget was not £22 but £40 as I forgot I had planned to get a big gammon joint and mince pies in this week for xmas.
Anyway, spent 31.58, so 8.42 under budget. There is loads of fruit and veg reduced to half price and marked 'to clear' in Tesco's again this week. This seems to be some sort of offer.
Got 2 coupons. 20 points for spending 80p on apples, easy one that as I buy the 90p value bags. The other was 150 points for spending £6 on laundry products. Thats about 18 months worth so I'll bin that one.

I'll have to go now, I have 8 kilo's of onions to peel and chop for the freezer
    Regards

Hi, was just interested when you said £6 on laundry products was about 18 months worth! Just wondering how much you usually spend on laundry and how? :)

  • Hello all,

I had planned a NSD today but I left my lunch in the fridge, most annoying. So I spent £1.80 on a sandwich.

Excitingly met Trinny and Susannah at a book signing. My sister bought the book for me for Christmas so I didn't have to spend any money for that either. :T

  • Argh! Completely blown the budget today. Was invited to local children's Warehouse for play session and meal with another parent and ended up spending £10.50. Oh well, DD hasn't had a treat for a while!
Also spent £1 for fundraising at DD's school.
£11.50 on one day. That's my whole budget plus more than half again!
