Anyone know Motability cars with Sat Nav?
Hi All,
I'm looking for a motability car at the moment. I have order a Ford Focus Sport which has a built in Sat Nav for £100 deposit on Diesel. The problem is I've been waiting around 4 weeks now, and it could be another 6 weeks before I get the car if not longer.
I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other cars that come with a Sat Nav as standard or maybe the zetec or sport model has a Sat Nav. I know there are a few but some are out of my price range, I'm willing to pay upto £300 deposit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

Not sure on ford models but there are a couple of vauxhall's that I've seen listed with Sat Nav Astra and Insignia's.
Would you not be better off with a standalone Sat Nav, you can pick up a decent one for £100 and would be able to then use it in any car.
Not sure what there like now a days, but I can remember friends having inbuilt sat nav's and they've been a pain when trying to update them.0 -
Your getting a free car, surely you can afford to go and buy sat nav?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

My car has a built in satnav/juke box thingy. £200 quid a go to update the maps and it won't do speed camera alerts.
I use my Garmin as backup.0 -
Motability car's aren't free.
OP - try Nissan Qashqai.
I've had standalone and in car satnav - in car is much better - you can't forget it and you don't have to remove it everytime you get out of the car.0 -
As above, my parents have a mobility Qashqai with satnav.0

Nissan Note comes with Sat Nav and no advance payment at all.
5t.What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Following my previous Motabiliy car being wirtten off (not my fault - a Polish lorry hit it) I have just ordered a new Nissan Qashqai 1.5 TD N-Tec which comes complete with Sat Nav amongst many other bits and pieces. Very good value (nil advance payment) for such a big well equipped car.

If this is the same sat nav is is in the Micra N-Tec you'll be in for a shock - the courtesy Micra I had was scared of motorways :rotfl:0 -
Kilty - satnav can be set to calculate a route for quickest journey, shortest distance and on modern systems best fuel economy. Set it wrong and it may not go on motorways.0
