Ah Mrs Motivated - your Diary is fabulous and you sound soo motivated with a cracking sense of humour! Have you named your chickens? My friend's chooks are called Korma, Jalfrezi, Tikka, Rogan, Vindaloo and Balti!
Good luck with your debt busting.

Hi cashsaver.
Loving the names of your friends chickens - mine havent got names anymore (once you get over 10 - it gets to confusing).... only my two special favourites have names (Elvis (who is actually female, but has stuck with feathery crest - thinK princess eugenies headgear at THE wedding) and Dolly (the boss and an old girl now, but the one i'll always have a soft spot for).... the rest are just called either Stupid or Chook depending on my mood.:)Well Behaved women seldom make history

Tired - so very tired this morning didn't get home to the happy farm until half past nine last night and then had powerpoint to prep for today
Anyway on a more positive note, 'today is THE day' when I get to be put through may paces at the Gym ...... which for the first time ever has meant I have borrowed something from my daughters (instead of the other way around)
. Under my desk is would be lawyers Gym bag .... yes you read it right, I HAVE A GYM BAG (hehehe) , strange looks walking through the office and the odd descreet titter - mmmm and a comment from smug right hand man (assistant CEO) of , 'are you sure this is a good idea'...... "Of course, I replied" (giving she who must be obeyed stare), "I remember going for the burn with Jane Fonda"!!!! - "yeah he responded "I remember the dodgy legwarmers".
Anyway folks its FREE and its a PRIZE and so i am going :A. (wish me luck cos at around 12.30 I will officially be a gym bunny :T)
Well i had another no spend day yesterday (although I wont be having one today as I bought some spuds on my way to work).
Indulgent made me some lunch because I was late home (and it looks lovely) a bright chopped up salad with pomegrante seeds in it, a nice hard boiled free range egg from the chooks and some ham (for protein - apparantly i am going to need it)......
got weighed this morning too - dont want to much of a shock at the gym when 'fit bloke' weighs me. And I am ashamed to say, since i started my diet (1st jan) I have gained one pound!!!! Only eleven weeks to holidays too  (need to move out when new kitchen / bathroom etc fitted, so off to South of France) - now this may mean sporting a bikini - so really must get focussed on the llbs as well as the £'s.......
House is getting really dusty with all the work going on - so need to do a flylady thingy tonight...... also I have began to sort out my wardrobe - armed with an article about a capsule wardrobe - apparantly you need 16 carefully chosen items and that will do . I seriously need a Goking!!!! so far i have chosen one white classy blouse, and now I'm stuck..... any help on this front would be greatly appreciated...... as would be lawyer and eco warrior are hovering (think the vultures in jungle book) waiting to pick of the spoils of my wardrobe....
Well better get some work done - will check in later if fingers can still move after Gym!
Have a good day folks xxxxxxWell Behaved women seldom make history

I've cooked on three of them and they've all had their own idiosyncrasies. At least yours will be all shiny and new so you can train it up before it acquires any bad habits.mrs_motivated wrote: »OOH - be prepared to have your brains picked! I cant wait its SFW one (woodburning, solid fuel model), its all black and shiney and will be connected to the solar - so the rayburn does the hot water in winter and the solar does the hot water in summer.
Indulgent bought me a rayburn cookbook and it sounds weird - so i am abit worried that veg may be ready for lunch and meat ready the following breakfast......

The prize was worth winning then?

Afternoon peeps
Boy am i in PAIN!!!! The fella at the Gym who gave me my induction is a sadist disguised as a sweet fresh faced boy (think Justin Beiber with mucsles) who morphed into sadistic mode the moment we stepped into the 'fitness studio'.... anyhow after 45 minutes of pain, humiliation and discovering muscles that have been hidden since childhood it was OVER....or so I thought
after crawling back to the changing room (pausing only for oxygen), I managed to shower and change and emerged from the changing rooms, still beetroot faced and longing for a sit down and he was waiting for me (sadistic Bieber boy) ... back in angelic mode and asking me to join him for a 'chat and a drink' (this is when i discovered as well as a swimming pool indoor and outdoor, sauna, steam room, a spin room , 2 more rooms (not sure what they do in there i guess aerobic type stuff) and a bar - yes a BAR serving food and drink and a hairdressers and a beauty spa (now this is more like it)!
.... Anyway over our chat and drink he tried to convince me that if i joined - all this would be mine for around £80 per month!!!! oh and he followed that with "I can tell you was fit and obviously look after yourself you just need a little work to get back into shape" ..... and if I wanted he could give me some personal training sessions for only £35 per hour and he would soon have me looking like liz hurley AGAIN (hehe his words not mine) .... i gave him the she who must be obeyed stare and asked him if he planned on giving me plastic surgery and streching me 4inches then and for his information THE only time i looked good in safety pins was when they were attached to my nappy some 40 odd years ago!!!! Honestly - did he really think I would fall for that one?
Anyway on a good note - Eco Warrior wants to leave school after her AS levels and we told her thats fine BUT.... you either stay in some sort of education ie school or college or find a job..... floating round the house looking beautiful is NOT an option..... well next week she has 2 interviews (I am so nervous for her)... she has never had one before and I want to help and advise her.... but dont want to turn into pushy mum and trying to remain cool and offer help only when its asked for....... its torturing me....
Money saving (good in that i turned down the years membership and the personal training)
, however I need to get something suitable for eco to wear for interview... so am going to have to spend some pennies on nice suit and blouse and interview shoes! It needs to be smart and fairly formal (roles are accounts junior and business administrator, so not eco warriory are they)? - but still needs to be young and not to dynastyish!
i see this as an investment as she will need to wear something to interview and it can double up for work (if she is successful, fingers crossed) and am hoping Next will have something suitable.
Homewise extension is growing - garden becoming more and more building siteish and me more stressed.......
Oh and anyone else got a Virgin credit card (payments have SHOT up) which is good in that Its given me a kick up the bum to pay it off quicker.... but my heart goes out to those struggling with meeting payments.
Anyhow - better go now xxxx :wave:Well Behaved women seldom make history

great news on the interview for Eco Warrior, it is so hard for them these days. I wish I had got a job after school rather than doing uni, it was the wrong decision for me to go although I did have fun in lots of ways
I hope you can find her something lovely for the interview that she feels really confident in
well done on the gym too and very well done for not being taken in by the sales pitch :T
I have a Virgin card too, knew the day would come when they increased the payments but am glad I will be able to cover them just! I have a 6.9% life of balance transfer on there which I will be tackling once i have paid off my overdraft. The interest this month is mega becuase I mistimed another 0% transfer (didn't realise it had finished a month before I thought it was going to) but at least there was plenty of advance warning.
Cannot WAIT for the day when all this juggling cards business is over and done with!0
