Why do you need to wait for them to phone back? You've got their number, phone them at all sorts of times of day with your number withheld and tell them what you want to tell them.

Hello just joined this forum today as a result of Googling "Global Tech Computer Services" whom just tried cold-calling me.
Every time I receive a call with an international or 208..... number (an obvious fake London number sent from overseas which has missed out the leading Zero), my guard is up immediately. Another "tell" is the pause from you answering the phone to them speaking.
The female caller introduced herself as being from Global Tech and asked if I was Mr <Omitted> (which was factually correct). I responded with a question "Why?".
She then tried telling me I had a problem with my computer to which my response was "I don't have one" (a lie). She then questioned "Don't you have a Laptop?" Which my response was an abrupt "No? (Lie), I have got to go, bye!" and immediately hung up.
It annoys me that they can circumvent the TPS by calling from Overseas, have your details ETC.
I will not entertain ANY call from an overseas operative, if I need them I WILL CALL THEM. I usually hang up during the initial pause before they have had chance to speak, but this time I was not quick enough.
