Well why did you buy an item from this seller in the first place?

The seller’s feedback has slow delivery written all over it, and then you come on hear complaining about your item not arriving after four weeks

Looks like for this seller negs seem to make no difference and stupid people carry on buying from them regardless of what his feedback says

I bought from the seller because they had the item I wanted, at a price which was good, a feedback rating of 96.1% and at the time they were a power seller. I've looked at feedback before for powersellers or those with 1000s of feedback ratings and it's easy to feel that the negatives outweigh the positives when in fact the % is infact (& in this case) about 3-4%%

Buying from a seller that has 96% positive should mean I have a 96% chance of giving him a + feedback for his good service. It wouldn't scream to me that I should not buy from them.

I bought my item on the 8th November when I checked the feedback over the previous 4 pages of over 100 feedback ratings he had 6 negative from unique users. 6 out of a hundred isn't bad,

Am I saying these 6 weren't justified? No so why wouldn't I be justified to leave a negative for bad service?

It should, but with sellers like this, it doesn't.
The percentage doesn't take into account:
    - the people who didn't leave negative feedback because they didn't want a retaliatory neg.
    - the people who left a neg, got a retaliatory neg and agreed to a mutual feedback withdrawal.
  • I just did a quick check and one of my auction which ended on the 15th August still allows me to leave fb. So 90days is not the limit.
  • i'm in a similar situation with my buying ID!

paid straight away with paypal on a sunday night, left note with payment and seperate email stating i need the item within 3 days, fair enough in my view. no reply or delivery till friday so i contact again sayin its no good to me now so i want a refund, cheeky d!!ck says payment hadnt reached his 'bank account' thats why he never posted!!

i got my refund but neither one of us has left feedback

90th day is 9th january but not sure if i should risk it cos he's a retaliatory type

How do you leave feedback after the 90 days (when the link to the auction is gone). I bought something in August, there was a problem with it, great seller willing throughout to resolve but it has taken till now to do it. I want to leave positive but there is no link. Is there another way?T

Hi I've done it and got away with it but was nervous. I don't know exactly when the 90's days are but i remember once leaving it too late so I think it's pretty accurate.

It is annoying when you have a legitimate complaint but are too nervous to leave accurate feedback because of retaliation. Makes you feel better at least even if you have been done.

Thanks for the link but this didn't work for me. Told me the item didn't exist and I didn't have a transaction with the seller. Maybe it is too late? What a shame.
