NCP overcharge?
I had to go into Leeds city centre, my partner has blue badge so normally i find a disabled space and avoid any car parks and there silly parking prices, anyway today i couldn't find a space, so we decided we will use a multi storey, knowing we are only going to be 30 mins we thought, it will be ok parking should cost no more than £2 which is still alot for 30mins, anyway we returned put the ticket in the machine and was charged £6.40 for 28mins parking, i was spitting feathers at the machine, couldn't believe what it was saying. Do you think that this is fair, and is there anything i can do about it?

If thats what the car parking charge is, thats what you have to pay, nothing to do with fair.
You should have checked on the car parking charges before you parked.
You dont want to pay, dont park there, simplemake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Why didn't you just read the sign at the entrance? Then go elsewhere when you saw their joke prices?0

There was no where displaying prices, if i had known how much the car park was going to charge i wouldn't of parked there.0 -

I've never seen an NCP (or any charging car park) which doesn't list the charges somewhere easy to see. If you really believe that then write to them and complain. It will help if you get photos to prove that there are no signs that can been seen.0

Charging Car Parks HAVE to display their prices in a place suitable BEFORE you pass the barriers and enter the car park and hence form the contract to pay.“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0
