Ryanair question re not using the first leg of a journey

I have booked a return flight with Ryanair to depart on 27th and return 8 days later. I now want to go out 4 days early and I'm willing to lose the first part on the return flight by purchasing a new single fare. Will I have a problem using the return leg of the booking?

Thanks! I'm just as pleased that you understood it!0

I'm sure I've read on here that not turning up for the outward leg can mean that the airline automatically cancels your return flight. I'm not sure which airlines do this but it would be wise to seek further advice on this.0

Ryanair sell single tickets each way for all passengers, so not turning up for the outward leg is fine. If you'd booked a return flight with British Airways you'd have a problem and they'd cancel your return leg, but with Ryanair and Easyjet you'll be fine.0

Update,
I called Ryanair and was informed 'No problem, sir'.0
