I offer you my great sympathy
. I agree it is a struggle trying to find something decent to watch that hasn't been shown 100s of times. That's why we often end up watching a DVD or playing FPS games on our separate PCs most of the time (can't play as much when we have visitors though
as it's not politic ).
Just FYI not all of us women like soaps...and vile cooking programmes etc...I loathe and detest the miserable things! Give me a good action film anyday.

The Christmas Radio Times is now in the shops! I bought my copy yesterday and the moment DH and I got home, we went straight to the Christmas Day listings! There appears to be lots of good stuff on, but whether we'll be allowed to watch any of it at my brother's house, where his kids rule the tv, is another matter!!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Have to admit the excitement of actually getting the magazine is tempered somewhat by reading it and finding out there's a load of rubbish on!!!!0

Managed to get a Christmas TV times, but no Radio Times in either WH Smiths or Sainsburys, odd some areas have them
Looking forward to having a sit down with it, hope its not all repeats this year :coffee:0 -
I got the Radio times legendary Christmas issue but it was £1.99-eek!
At least had the 'free' doctor Who CD in it read by the fabulous David Tennant.
