Hi looking for cheaper telephone line rental, maybe some sort of package?
Looking at what 'sky' as to offer with their broadband, TV, & calls package £19.50 ? Just wondering if any one could recommend them or to stay clear, not heard alot of good about their broadband?
At present with 'Plusnet' for broadband, have been many years with no problems, so they are an option for including line renatal & calls. Just wondered about adding the TV with Sky?

Appreciate any advise/comments

Sky broadband is good as long as you can get on there LLU kit ie Unlimited, the Connect package isnt worth having free!
The £19.50 deal includes all three services but the BB is limited to 2Gb per month and phone to E/W

I am using the Unlimted BB @£15 with IDnet line rental /calls @ £14.29 works for me

I with Sky for Phone, TV and Internet and I've had no complaints whatsoever, even the switch from BT and O2 was painless and happened when they said it was going to happen.

    Correct
If you take the Anytime call package it costs £5 but you get a £5 reduction on BB for ANY call package.

Sky charges aren't the cheapest and for me the call provider I chose works better as there are no connection charges for landline or mobiles. and includes 5 hrs calls per month + caller ID.

For the ammount of short calls i make the connection charge is significant.

I don't know if you've already made the switch or not, but if not it might be worth giving plusnet a call and see what they can do for you for BB and phone.

I was looking a couple months ago for cheaper BB and phone and sky were coming in the cheapest for what I wanted. I decided to go with them (had phone with BT and BB with plusnet) called plusnet and they offered me a great deal on BB and to switch my phone to them - was well chuffed cos I really do detest sky and would rather not put money in their pockets.

I don't know if you can use overriders or not, to be honest I only really have my landline for incoming calls & for the broadband - I only very occasionally use the landline. But I haven't found any problems with it - had the phone switched about 6 weeks now I think.
No not had any problems as such with sky - was with them for years for tv - but I just detest Murdock and would rather not put money in his companies pockets.
