As above.

What else happens ?

I have got an HTC Desire but will shortly be changing from Vodafone to Orange - will I lose any data / info / numbers etc etc when the card is changed ?

Thanks
Ps If there is anything I need to save / backup / remove please let me know !!

All your apps are registered to your gogle account, not your sim card, so you shouldn't lose anything there.

The only thing you could lose is contacts (if they are saved to your sim and not your phone) but this can be sorted in a few seconds by copying them to your phone.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Have a look at downloading app brain on the app market. It's free, and is really great for keeping track of your apps and quickly reinstalling them on a new phone

Log into your google account on a pc and click the push to phone button that will automatically restore apps to your new phone.
