o2 my europe query

i have an old o2 which has an old tarriff (£10 gets 100 mins or texts) i was thinking of using this sim in spain and activating the "my europe" on it, will activating this affect my old tarriff which i'd like to keep

I don't see any reason for activating to affect your tariff.

However, I don't understand why you want to keep it. Is it PAYG or Pay Monthly?

For example, with giffgaff (same network) PAYG you can get 125 mins or 250 texts for £10. Or for £10 a month you get 250+unlimited.

Icardmobile (PAYG) currently charge 2p for landline calls, 6p for mobiles and 5p for texts.

I'm on an old text anytime payg tariff and have o2 my europe every year and it does not change my tariff

If you are going to Spain put Chosen Country Spain on instead. Same service ie free incoming calls instead of 18p per min, but only £5 not £10 as 02 is part of the spanish firm Telefonica.

Barjam gets the 100minutes/texts free when they top up £10. Depending how they spend the £10, it could work out much cheaper.

grumbler , i use that sim to keep my broadband at a cheaper price (top up every 3 month) but also use the minutes when they're active for that month, as for giffgaff thats what i use as my main,

spinningsheep, it says the incoming calls are free not 18p, but how am i able to chose spain as it says text "extra month" for 1 month i like the sound of it only charging £5 for spain :T ,
