Phew de-canted all my new arrivals - took about 45 minutes and a bag of Peat free (more environmentally friendly) compost from Lidl £1.99 (loads left!). Hopefully they can grow big enough in these trays to plant out. Just got to water them in now and get ready for hopefully my petunias to also arrive...

Edit - I got these trays from Homebase but am sure I've seen them in Poundland-Poundstretchers, Wilkos etc for cheaper! Happy planting to everyone!

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

pot 1st, the sutton plants come with a handy leaflet on plant sizes and what to do so don't worry

...and they are really tiny (basically the size of a pen lid) but really healthy

Mine were about 5cms tall, and have planted them into plant trays. If I'd seen them in a garden centre, I'd have thought they would have had a much larger root system. I must have got older ones.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just got a letter saying that they had run out of stock - so my second lot won't be arriving - well at least I won't have to plant them out - I gave my first order to my sister and I enjoyed watching her plant out!
