How embarassing for you, on so many levels. First of all, very disingenuous of you to suddenly move from measuring in kilos suddenly rather than ounces. But it doesnt hide the fact that the November decline was much much lower than this decline.
More importantly, this fall is SOLELY about the sudden exit of speculative demand and it totally refutes the arguments espoused here about how robust the industrial demand is.
I'm watching CNBC . . still heading lower and now around $39.3. Was it really just five trading days ago that you guys were crowing about it reaching $49.8?
PS . . Soros is selling . .
If it makes you feel better to think this is embarrassing for you then I won't burst your bubble:D
I used kilos because that's how they are measured when I buy in the UK, simples.0 -
To be fair, Loopgame, you're one of the more rational and thoughtful silver fanatics. My ire is more aimed at idiots like padington (smeagold's !!!!!) and jpmorgue.
Were they really banned?0 -
Yes, I think MSE got tired of the creative ways they used to shoehorn silver into every topic, so a blanket ban was imposed and all trace of them has been removed.0

Is there an echo in here?0

Well, we're touching $36 today. What's that in percentage terms from a week or so ago? Close to 25%.
CNBC are saying anyone who didn't see silver as a classic speculative bubble are idiots, and are talking at length about the oversupply of industrial silver.
Which is strange really .. because our resident rampers suggested otherwise.
It's almost a shame they were banned and yet it's similarly strange that they haven't created new accounts and are here to explain what's happened this week . . .0 -
But we know what happened - 4 margin hikes.
Silver spot goes down each time.
It was a fast increase in silver from jan to april - bound to see a fast decrease but it's happened so many times in the silver bull run you'd think people have got the hang of what happens next. It makes up the fall spectacularly.
But then I would say that...wouldn't I.:p
How far does silver fall0 -

All they ever did was repeat parrot fashion the !!!!!!!! they read on various Blogs.
The stupid are easily led.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
A crash in Silver?, who would have predicted it?

What crash? Its just a buying opportunity.0

I suspect that the money is now sloshing into the short silver funds.
