Not sure if http://www.forcemotorcycles.com will be able to help, but if you talk to Nick, the guy that owns the place, he's a knoledgable & helpful guy!

He sells mostly Police & Military machines, but worth a try, 'cos he has a mail order parts business too!

  • for the muff type you need to know if the bike has disc or drum brakes as the muffs are a different shape to accomodate the reservoir
if you want heated grips , make sure the bike electrics are up to it (if it is a big bike there should be no problem)

A 125 is fine. I`ve never used heated grips, but I used to use the muff. They are really effective. The only problem is that once they are fitted, you cannot see any of the switches - indicators or horn. If you`re used to the bike,it`s no real problem.
One night I couldn`t get my bike to start although the lights and horn worked fine. Waited an hour for the RAC who gave up and sent for Hamrax motors to sort it out. Another hours wait. The guy from Hamax looked under the muff and turned the engine kill switch off and the bike went fine. Very embarrassing.

Wraparound are cheaper but won't generally last as long. The most expensive ones are the OEM ones, and are pretty good, but may be overkill for what you want. A pair of cheap wrap arounds, maybe with a pair of hand guards to stop the wind getting to the hands, would probably be the most cost effective solution.

I've got a 125 and went for some oxford Muffs, they're GREAT :D

thank you muffs and wrap arounds seem to be about the same price i just don't know what to go for. The only problem is I think personally that muffs look a bit dangerous, say you have a fall will you hands not be kind of trapped? and is there much room too move? sorry for all the qus
  • the oxford muffs are excellent but there are cheaper alternatives, heated grips and muffs is a winning combination, i used to know a guy that had them both fitted to a honda cm 125 and couldnt wear gloves because his hands got too hot when they were switched on.
    best of luck
