New system has finally arrived, and went live at 5pm on friday. I have now joined the Druids!
I won't know how good the system is until they take the scaffolding down and we work out how to implement the Global Peak anti-shading program. (In fact, I won't know how good it is until the winter, when we know if those very expensive panels were worth it. Fortunately, I let OH buy the panels, and she let me buy the inverter.)
Best wishes to all fellow druids,
    O G

It i really good to see what you guys disclose as to what you generate.

It would be even more helpful if any of you could disclose what you actual use.

Even MSE site and EST are reconning it is not as much as people believe so can you let us all know.

    Thanks

Unfortunately, not many people have an export meter installed so it is difficult to determine how much solar generated energy is actually being used.

Personally, I know I am using less grid electricity since I have had solar panels installed but during this time I have also replaced my fridge/freezer, PC, and PVR with more energy efficient models so usage would have come down anyway.

So are you saying that out of 1427 units you have genereated you were only able to use 351 units around the home?

That is much less than the 50% deemed exported to get your extra 3.1p and is also much less than loads of people are trying to convince peeps that oyu will use an aweful lot of your own generated power.

    Thanks
