Rather than mix them up in other threads lets try and put them in a single thread. Please limit to a single post and then edit it for updating. I will make another thread for discussions! How about this template for starters (feel free to add/change)

What about adding shading? My results are affected by early morning shade from a dormer and a chimney stack that probably knocks 3 or 4 kWh from my daily output.

    Hi to all!
Having just had my first quote for a pv system (and general forum reading suggests it ws much too high!) it would be a great help to us timid beginners if the system cost could be indicated. I'm interested in the previous message, for example, because data from Sussex/South Coast seems to be sparse. Any thoughts welcome!
    Thanks,
    OG

first FITs payment £406.00 up until Thur 16th june well pleased

Quite a lot of users are sending their data to the web in real time and in some cases graphs of output in ten or fifteen minute chunks over the last six months or more.

You could go here and follow the links to several such sites. They may be more useful than this thread for serious research.

New record peak output about a week ago: 4.47kW (briefly). The sytem is just under 4kW so I don't know where the extra came from.
