Postman,
Just a thought ... if people want to do their own thing, surely that's up to them isn't it, they're entitled to ... I can't follow your complaint??
And ... do you actually do any of the laborius legwork into trying to establish the many new r&r opportuinities, or do you just fill your boots (getting your mates to help out) by going for what's posted on here?
£2051 since October 25th (on your sig) ... erm .. big deal mate ...
... but if you really like being the 'Internet Messageboard Hero' that's up to you .. as has been said before, there's some who are making that and more ... and get on with it quietly ...
I hope I'm wrong on the 'doing the legwork bit' and in the future you'll no doubt prove my doubts were unfounded ...0 -
patcat wrote:Just a quick question. I have managed to get a couple of R&R's (DVD's, pork chops etc) but do people find the misprices and then do their shopping and then go back to CS with a nice long till receipt having 'just noticed that the price is wrong' or do they just go specifically for the misprices and present themselves at CS with them, do they do more than one at a time or as many as they can find. ?
ps, I am not a newbie but have had to re register as was having problems accessing the forums.

Postman never use it
It ensures job security, it means the mail machines cannot sort these letters as there is no postcode
a postie has to manually sort it!!

If you go straight for the r&r products then you might draw attention to yourself, best to behave like an 'ordinary' shopper, realising the error as you check the receipt on leaving the store. Good luck.:hello:0 -
plastic_screw wrote:by doing this we have reduced the chance of a store or nation wide ban to any of us
you mean to either of usplastic_screw wrote:we have had over 2 grand from tesco, from over 15 stores in six counties.plastic_screw wrote:ok you may get 5 phones in a week, and so may 10 of your buddies, but by posting here, maybe 100+ peole could get a phone, thus denting tescos profits and benefitting everyone
I doubt many other people actually get a look in with you travelling so far and wide.... hardly beneficial for everyone now is it?plastic_screw wrote:we are all on the same team, but some think they are special and are more concerned over lining their own pocketsthe_postman wrote:I bring home £1000-£1040 month
+ £40 child tax credit
£70 child benefit
£220 her wage
=£1330-£1380 month all in
me 20k top line, but i have £8 week csa arrears until sept 07, and £4 week student loan deduction.
Out
Petrol £90 diesel £90 (her)
road tax £10, £10 (her)
Insurance £44 (£25 in april 07) ,£16 (her)
Gas/Elec £ 70? approx
Contents insurance £17
phone (bt + internet) £ 40
sky £17.50 (i know)
food etc£220 inclusive (toiletries etc all in)
council tax debt £10
council tax £83
rent £425
water £25
loan £53
tv licence £10
college nursery fees £20 week £80 month
£1310.50
That is the absolute bare essentials?
I have a pint a week at most, i dont smoke, do spend cash i dont need to
No emergency cash, clothing, etc etc. I know sky is naughty but jesus! Thats it!
My partner earns £60 a week but runs her car to college, and work and takes my daughter to creche at college and also has to pay weekly fees for my daughter etc. And she pays tv licence Her money is gone and often i give her £10 here or there, so as you can see i have very little left.
Sometimes a bill comes in and i have to work extra to pay it, i dont have savings as such, just week by week!
Well judging by the financial strains that your friend the_postman is under I'd imagine that he is simply giving all his r&r's away to a good cause eh....0 -

Or would you tell a few people who you can trust to keep it a secret, have shared Misprices with you in the past, especially when their was a doubt whether you would get a refund or not?
Plastic screw is my sidekick :rotfl:
