Yes you can buy booze 24 hours a day at my local store. Maybe the prices are updated in the middle of the night then? To give the staff chance to sort it out. After all if it came up at the cheaper price at 1am and the yellow SEL had been removed the regular customer would be more than happy with a cheaper price.March prizes: 6 x Crufts tickets, tickets to Wham live! Heck naked sausages, DVD

Prices change at different times during the night. It is usually 3am ish, but it just depends on how long it takes for the servers to do the overnight backup etc.We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -

I "bought" (r'n'r-ed) to printers (posted in the mis-prices thread). I want to exchange one but feel guilty and know it will be awkward taking it back when I had a refund on it. I took it back without a reciept and was told it was needed unless I had the original card, where they could look up the receipt (from the c card/tescos card).
Will they see the refund as well on the same reciept?
Anyone help,please ?0 -

Hmmm, I would tend to think not. When they do a refund they don't scan the barcode on the receipt and the only numbers I have seen them note down is the till number (NOT the transaction number) and the barcode of the mis-scanning item.
Anyone else want to add their opinion though, I think there's a lot of paranoia about details of refunds being recorded. If that was the case, why do some snotty stores insist on photocopying the receipt (BTW if they did this I would certainly not go for a golden for that item, but otherwise I might).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

what is your avatar?
and do you think it should be an tescos overcharge thread?
and because some posts were deleted do your posts get knocked down too?
Its Death.
I think there should be a separate chat thread. Its human nature that when you interact with people, you are going to go off topic eventually. Everyone does it.
No, your post count stays the same.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
