I've just bought the new Loreal 4D mascara and its the only one that makes my eye lashes look like i've put on false ones, (fair, freckles, blonde eyelashes) i am in love with it. only problem is that its a nightmare to get off

I've also got this mascara and love it! I have never had such a good mascara before and it was on special intro offer of £7.99, absolute bargain!

I use Lancome Hypnose Drama, but recently saw a make up demonstration from someone who does stage and film make up, and she recommended Max Factor Masterpiece as her favourite mascara for herself and her work.
  • If I'm feeling flush, its Chanel Inimitable Intense. For everyday, Boots Natural Collection Lash Length is great value at about £2 , but Natural Collection stuff seems to be permanently on 3 for £5 these days.

For me it has to be YSL false lash effect mascara. I do like the Chanel Inimitable too, but after having both the YSL is my favourite

My mum has spent her life finding a mascara that won't budge (she wears contacts) and is finally happy with the Blinc one that forms tubes around the lashes. She likes the fact that it doesn't budge and is also really easy to remove (with water). As budget mascaras go, I can't fault Maybelline; I've used all the expensive brands (my second favourite is Lancome) but I always go back to Maybelline :)
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I won a tube of the new Maybelline one by one, bright red packaging and I have to say its a really good mascara much better than many of the more expensive ones I've tried, it doesn't say its waterproof but it stood up really really well when my eyes were streaming the other day from eyebrow threading, I don't normally like Maybelline mascaras but this one changed my mind:)
