Best Mascara

Which is your favourite mascara?

I have tried so many over the years but I always seem to end up with panda eyes where it has smudged under my lower lashes.

  • I really like Clinque High Impact Mascara & Clinque Bottom Lash mascara is excellent.

Might be a good idea to find some decent reviews on You Tube. Pixiwoo is may fav makeup channel. Shows good makeup technique too.

been using the waterproof Eyes Lips Face (ELF) one, think it cost £3.50 and it is really good. very impressed with the brushes too.

Benefit Badgirl Lash mascara (or whatever it's called) it's AMAZING. I don't like the clinique one as when I remove it i always get thready bits in my eye :-( I never have that problem with benefit and it makes my lashes look huge. Highly recommended :)

Also as an alternative if you do find a mascara you like but still get panda eyes Clarins make a clear sealant that is supposed to very effective, not tried it myself but it gets good reviews:)

I swear by Clarins Wonderlash, pricey but it doesn't budge all day.

I am really prone to smudgey eyes so I know where you're coming from.

Avon used to do a good one, but they discontinued it (typical!) and i've yet to find one cheaper that does the same as Clarins!

I have in the past had my eyelashes tinted black and used a clear mascara to curl them up....but I got bored of going to the salon all the time! :)

Clinique High Impact which thickens. Mine are naturally long, but could be thicker.
  • Personally, I can't use any Benefit products. For some reason I get a really bad allergic reaction. Never have this problem with any other brands.

My favourites are Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill...so loooverly, Chanel Inimitable and Benefit Bad Gal Lash.

Favourite DS mascara's are Collection 2000 Falsies and Maybelline Calorie 2000 (is it maybelline, maybe max factor?)
