Touche Eclait - well similar!

Lloyds Pharmacy are doing a similar but considerably cheaper version to the YSL brand for £3.33 - called Touch of Light.

I have tried these cheap versions and they are not the same, you only have to look at the comparison in price between the genuine article and the cheapo version to know that there is no way it would be as good, they are usually cloggy, do not blend in correctly and never last as long.

Joancary, you say you've tried cheap versions but I'm just wondering if you've tried this particular product which Lloyds are selling?

I can't afford YSL products so I'd personally be interested in at least trying cheaper versions, even if they're not quite as good. I wouldn't expect the looklikeys to perform as well but you just never know! :)

The No 7 equivalent is a great product and often on some sort of offer:)

Aldi also do a similar version which in my opinion is great, even though I am an avid No7 fan I wouldnt swap my Aldi touche eclait copy for anything! Their makeup is excellent

I like Rimmel Match Perfection Illuminating Concealer £5.99 at most chemists. Its great for hiding dark circles under eyes. Its illuminating, but more concealing than touche eclat. It also comes in three colourways.

I use the Asda own version- the review I saw said it was better than the genuine one!

I have to say, I've tried the similar pens from No.7, Boujours, Clinique, Body Shop and Benefits Highlight, none are the same as the YSL, they each have their own benefits and there are things that I feel the YSL version does not offer (not good coverage, more of a highlighter then coverage, Clinique, No.7 and other concealers are better at covering dark circles and spots) it is very good at highlighting though where other products are often too brassy, too bright/white or rub off within an hour or so, the YSL doesn't and if I had the money to spare I'd instantly get another! For now I'm making do with a natural glow and some SPF irredecence on my cheek bones (the other thing YSL doesn't offer is sun protection!).

Just wondering if anyone has (not including the products I have tried) found a closer comparison? I've not tried the Aldi but there is no Aldi near me.

Another vote for the Aldi version, I've been using it for a couple of years now and I love it. The pens last for ages too!
